Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100 Success
ºÚÁÏÍø±¬³Ô¹Ï
We want to say a very big thank you to Suzanna Anderson, Tim Beal, Theo Bertram, Douglas Burnett, Konrad Caulkett, Alun Jones and Jason Marett who completed the Prudential RideLondon-Surrey 100, Sunday 2nd August, for ºÚÁÏÍø±¬³Ô¹Ï. Among 26,000 other cyclists our riders faced leg-testing climbs on the 100 mile route made famous by the world’s best cyclists at the London 2012 Olympics.
Over the past few months the team have been hard at work raising money for ºÚÁÏÍø±¬³Ô¹Ï whilst finding the time for the many long weekend training rides needed to build up to the final 100 mile challenge.
When Sunday came the ºÚÁÏÍø±¬³Ô¹Ï team defied the heat and took to the road in a fleet of colourful orange and white cycling jerseys. The ride itself started at the Olympic stadium in Stratford, east London, and built to a thrilling finish on the Mall, via big stretches of London and some climbs in the Surrey countryside.
Sponsorships are still coming in for the ºÚÁÏÍø±¬³Ô¹Ï team and so far they have raised a fantastic amount – so once again a big, big thank you to our team!
If you are interested in taking on the challenge for ºÚÁÏÍø±¬³Ô¹Ï next year, please email emma@theirworld.org for more information. The 2016 will take place on Sunday 31st July.
