The world has paid tribute today to the 2014 winners of the Nobel Peace Prize – children’s rights and education campaigners Malala Yousfzai and Kailash Satyarthi.

Kailash has battled for more than three decades to free children from slavery and trafficking in India, helping to rescue tens of thousands of boys and girls.

Malala recovered from being shot by the Taliban in Pakistan to become a global figure in the fight for universal education.
